Central Florida Dog & Disc Club

Memberships

Membership in the Central Florida Dog & Disc Club is open to the general public and we meet on a regular basis for club meetings, practice sessions, clinics and competitions.  Club members come from all occupations and walks of life. Our canine members come in a variety of breeds, ranging from Jack Russell Terriers to a Greyhound to Labrador Retrievers and virtually every breed in-between.  Membership in our club also includes entry into our Canis Major series of club competitions held each Fall, where members can compete for divisional awards and the overall championship known as the Canis Major Award (AKA the “Reggie Cup”).  We also have a newsletter (the Central Florida Flyer) that’s published for club members with information on current club events, articles on canine disc activities and timely tips on how to help your canine friend in everyday life as well as playing flying disc sports.  We also help our community in the central Florida area by our active participation in local pet events with our Frisbee dog freestyle demonstration team.   Local Humane Societies, SPCA’s and rescue groups host events we perform at to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership and canine disc sports and activities for dog owners.

There is something for everyone at CFDDC, whether a beginner or experienced World-Class dog & disc handler.  Members can play recreational or competitive flying disc sports and have fun at our practice sessions, training clinics, competitions and social events.  Sharing the bond between owners and their dogs with fellow canine disc enthusiasts is theprimary focus of our club!
