Disc Dog Organizations

There are many disc dog organizations that have designed their own competition formats, rules and styles.  Each one of them offer you the opportunity to display how well you have mastered different skills.  For those of us with a disc dog addiction, we play any chance we get, regardless of the venue!

Skyhoundz / Hyperflite - Founded by Mr. Peter Bloeme, Skyhoundz produces training videos and books, and hosts the Skyhoundz championship competition series.  A recommended source of reading and reference material for the canine flying disc enthusiast!

UFO - Unified Frisbee Dog Operations - A competition series that’s just out of this world!  Local and Regional events are held to determine the World Cup of canine disc individual, junior and club championships.

N - Unite States Disc Dog Nationals - A competiton series that promotes all breeds and different sizes and speeds  of dogs. 

FDDO - Flying Disc Dog Open - A competition series that offers the typical freestyle and toss & fetch, but also speed disc and obstacle course divisions.

IDDHA - International Disc Dog Handlers' Association - A competition series that offers a way of titling you and your dog.

Purina Incredible Dog Challenge - A competition series that offers two regional qualifiers which combine both freestyle and distance/accuracy together.  The finals are held at St. Louis, Missouri at the

Central Florida Flying Disc Challenge - Annual competition that includes freestyle and toss & fetch with an additional category of accuracy requiring your dog to catch the disc in designated landing areas.

The Quadruped - A competition series that’s a real “Hoot”!  Where all your dog has to do is Go Long!  The brainchild of Mr. Jeff Hoot, this competition is a great way to have fun with your pooch!
